Shift Rotation: Day Shift and Night Shift Rotation (2 Weeks Days / 1 Rotation Nights)
Wage: Starting at $30.00 per hour up to $40.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience

We are currently seeking experienced and safety-oriented Heavy Equipment Operators to join our growing team at a mining operation located in Wells, BC.
Position Summary
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating a variety of heavy equipment in support of mining and construction activities. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong operating skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced camp environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy equipment, including:
- Excavators
- Dozers
- Wheel Loaders
- Rock Trucks
- Graders
- Skid Steers
- Compactors and other support equipment as required
- Complete daily equipment inspections and pre-operational checks.
- Perform excavation, grading, hauling, loading, stockpiling, and site preparation.
- Work closely with supervisors and labour crews to complete daily production goals.
- Identify and report equipment defects or maintenance requirements.
- Maintain accurate equipment inspection records and daily logs.
- Follow all company, client, and regulatory safety requirements.
- Participate in toolbox meetings, hazard assessments, and safety initiatives.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operating experience in mining, construction, forestry, or heavy civil industries.
- Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (Class 1 or 3 is considered an asset).
- Strong understanding of safe operating practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Heavy Equipment Operator certification is considered assets.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements, including drug and alcohol testing where required by the client.
