We are hiring an independent, hard-working and reliable Flatbed Truck Driver for our busy operations. The successful candidate will be required to transport goods from point A to point B Canada wide, sometimes under difficult conditions and at odd hours. An ideal candidate for this position will be eager to take on responsibility and has a proven track record of efficiency with past employers.
Responsibilities:
- Pick up loads at the distribution center and deliver them to their destination.
- Haul loads over a long distance.
- Drive a semi-truck with an air brake system.
- Maintain logbook.
- Maintain cleanliness of the truck.
- Listen to traffic reports for potential delays or rerouting information.
- Drive as quickly as possible, but safely.
