Southey Mainline is expanding their repair team! Join our team as a Lube Technician where your skills will contribute to our team by delivering exceptional service while ensuring customer satisfaction through organizing, scheduling and performing lube and oil change services. In this position you will play a crucial role in our mission to provide quality automotive repair services.
Overview/Responsibilities:
- Perform oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and other routine maintenance services
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair concerns to the service team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including service bays, equipment, and tools
- Clean windshields and inspect wiper blades
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and according to dealership standards.
- Assist technicians with basic shop duties and vehicle preparation as required
- Handle physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving automotive parts and supplies
- Adhere to all workplace safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a lube bay position preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with the role.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality workmanship.
- Willingness to learn and develop automotive service skills
