Overview
Experience Truck & Trailer repair personal required.
Must be able to perform running fleet repairs.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair trailer systems, including brakes, electrical wiring, suspension, and structural components
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspections, lubrication, and part replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately
- Read and interpret technical schematics and manuals for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical problems
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and comply with industry regulations
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
- Assist in assembly of new trailers or equipment as required
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with a focus on trailers or heavy industrial equipment
- Dealership experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics interpretation, electrical wiring, and maintenance procedures
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or industrial machinery is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts handling
- Prior work involving assembly or disassembly of complex mechanical systems is advantageous
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.70-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 60 per week
