Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area throughout shifts
- Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests or servers
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness
- Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines within the restaurant environment
Experience
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, especially in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with food industry standards for meal preparation and food safety
- Experience with serving, food handling, and basic cooking techniques
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service best practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward collaboration in a busy kitchen environment
