Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive servers to join Andreia's Kitchen & Lounge. Im looking for passionate , friendly, and professional servers to join my team! The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining high levels of hospitality throughout each shift. Previous food service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in the food industry. The Server will play a vital role in delivering memorable dining experiences while efficiently managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services to ensure a positive dining experience
- Take accurate orders using TouchBistro, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables during busy periods without compromising service quality
- Assist with basic food preparation or setup as needed, supporting kitchen staff when required
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations, dining areas, and workspaces throughout each shift
- Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to promote guest satisfaction and loyalty
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with POS systems such as TouchBistro is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for order accuracy, billing, and cash handling purposes
- Experience in upselling menu items and providing excellent guest services is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
