Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Content Development Specialist to join our team. This role is integral to designing, implementing, and managing engaging training programs and educational content across various platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in instructional design, change management, and human resources management, with a passion for fostering learning and development within organizations. Responsibilities
- Develop and curate compelling training content tailored to diverse audiences using tools such as Adobe Captivate, LMS platforms, and SharePoint.
- Design instructional materials that align with organizational objectives and incorporate best practices in adult learning theories.
- Manage and update HRIS systems like Workday to ensure accurate data collection, reporting, and compliance.
- Lead change management initiatives by creating communication strategies and training programs that facilitate smooth transitions during organizational changes.
- Deliver engaging presentations and public speaking sessions to educate employees on new policies, systems, or processes.
- Collaborate with HR teams on employee relations, recruiting efforts, and training & development programs to support talent acquisition and retention strategies.
- Conduct research to identify industry trends, best practices, and innovative tools for enhancing learning experiences.
- Utilize Salesforce for tracking recruitment activities, training progress, and program management metrics.
- Provide classroom instruction or virtual training sessions as needed, demonstrating excellent communication skills and teaching expertise.
- Support program management activities by coordinating schedules, resources, and stakeholder engagement for various HR initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in content development, instructional design, or related fields within human resources or corporate training environments.
- Minimum 5 years of Tim Hortons Experience.
- Excellent communication skills including public speaking and presentation abilities suitable for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated expertise in change management strategies and employee training & development programs.
- Classroom experience or experience delivering virtual training sessions is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a program management framework.

Pay: $17.20-$56.63 per hour
