Job Summary:
ZhoopZhoop Collision & Mechanical is looking for a skilled and dependable Autobody Painter Prepper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in preparing vehicles for high-quality refinishing, ensuring all surfaces meet our standards before entering the paint booth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mixing and applying paint according to manufacturer specs
- Color matching and blending
- Sand, mask, and prime vehicle surfaces prior to painting
- Clean and prep panels to ensure proper paint adhesion
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow shop procedures and quality standards
- Following safety procedures and using PPE
- Working collaboratively with other technicians and team members
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in automotive prep and painting
- Knowledge of refinishing techniques, paint systems (e.g. akzonobel)
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Knowledge of prep tools and techniques
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
