The Role
The Production & Installation Assistant is a hands-on support role that helps our production and installation teams prepare, finish, assemble, package, and install the graphics, signs, and custom fabricated items that move through our shop.
You’ll assist with a wide range of in-shop and on-site tasks, helping experienced team members keep projects organized and moving forward.
We’re looking for someone reliable, careful, coachable, and comfortable doing detailed hands-on work in a supporting role. Experience in sign production, print finishing, vinyl, fabrication, painting, woodworking, installation, or general shop work is an asset, but attitude, attention to detail, willingness to take direction, and eagerness to learn are just as important.
Key Responsibilities
- Laminating and trimming printed materials
- Preparing vinyl graphics and dimensional elements
- Assisting with fabrication and finishing of millwork and custom pieces
- Sanding, priming, and painting surfaces
- Helping with on-site installations
- Completing site surveys and taking measurements
- Organizing tools and materials
- Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and safe
- Assisting with shipping, receiving, and material handling
- Loading, unloading, and preparing tools, materials, and equipment for jobs
- Supporting production, fabrication, finishing, and installation teams as needed
- Following established shop processes and safety procedures
- Taking initiative in learning new skills and improving workmanship

Experience
Experience in any of the following areas would be considered an asset:
- Sign production or print finishing
- Vinyl weeding, masking, laminating, or graphic application
- Wrapping or laying up graphics onto substrates
- CNC preparation, sanding, priming, or finishing
- General fabrication, assembly, woodworking, or shop work
- Shipping, receiving, packaging, or warehouse organization
- Reading basic drawings, measurements, or work orders
- Use of hand tools, power tools, or production equipment
