Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring or other construction related trades, including experience with manual labor, power tools, resinous coatings, concrete grinding or repair, etc. However, we are willing to fully train the right candidate with little to no experience.
This position requires someone who is comfortable working with their hands, using various hand tools and concrete grinding related equipment. The flooring Installer will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship and demonstrate a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude, while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Install various types of epoxy and polyaspartic flooring systems
- Operate various power tools, hand tools, generators and concrete grinding related equipment
- Assist with loading and unloading materials from storage to trailer to work site
- Assist with setting up the work site including tarps, tape and other protective products and equipment
- Apply caulking and other adhesives
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining a very high quality work
- Conduct final inspections of installed flooring to ensure it meets the clients expectations and ARMR's quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in flooring installation or other manual labor/ trades related work.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Willingness to learn and take direction well.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to take and understand measurements of liquids and solids as well as dimensions of the spaces we are working in.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy materials/ equipment and stand or kneel for extended periods of time.
- Valid drivers license, vehicle to get to job sites
- No criminal record
- Willing to work out of town occasionally

- Experience towing trailers is an asset
- Having access to a truck to pull a trailer occasionally will result in additional pay
- Probation period is one month. Once completed and quality of work is demonstrated on a regular basis, rate will increase to $25.00 per hour.
