Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in accordance with food safety regulations
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Support the serving staff by ensuring timely delivery of prepared dishes
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and rotating stock as needed
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to promote a safe working environment for everyone
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety protocols in the food industry
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
