MCG Careers, Inc. is seeking a Full-time Associate Auditor (Entry Level) on behalf of our employer partner (in the Winning Edge-Workplace Training Program), with a head office in Calgary and branches across Canada, this company offers a wide range of accounting services at competitive rates to fast-growing companies in Canada. Their team provides a one-stop solution on Risk Management, Corporate Finance, Assurance, Accounting, Taxation and Internal Controls advisory.
The company is looking to hire an Associate Auditor (Entry Level) who will provide support to coordinate and review audit projects, collaborate with the preparation of reports, help with daily operations. The company relies on their team's enthusiasm and desire to help clients comply with the regulatory requirements. Relevant Experience Requirements
- 0-1 year experience of working on an auditor position
- Some knowledge of auditing and control requirements and practices
- Knowledge of laws and regulations in company's area
- Team member skills
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Reliability٫ productivity٫ and attention to detail
- Good practical experience with MS Office٫ particularly Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software
- BSc or BA degree in Accounting or Finance; master’s degree and professional certification (such as CPA٫ CA) would be an asset
- Eligible to work in Canada
Responsibilities
- Work with the auditor team٫ fulfilling responsibilities and delivering performance Working in periodical audits
- Preparing reports to auditing manager
- Strong skills for training and high motivation
- Optimizing the audit process to increase compliance and efficiency
- Working with CaseWare
Additional Assets
- Preference will be given to candidates with Big 4 experience or top performing new grads
- IFRS and USGAAP knowledge

Winning Edge – Workplace Training Program Requirements
To qualify for this opportunity through the Winning Edge Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen.
- Must be unemployed at the time of intake.
- Ready, willing, and able to work full-time (up to 40 hours/week).
- Not a current student or enrolled in any program or school.
