Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metalizer Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various metal finishing equipment, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining efficient production processes.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor metal coating and finishing equipment, including CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, and spray systems.
- Set up and program CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC laser cutters to meet specifications.
- Use hand tools, calipers, and blueprint reading skills to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of parts.
- Perform quality inspections to verify dimensions, surface finish, and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning, lubrication, and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints for proper setup and operation.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to adjust machine parameters for optimal performance.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations, including the use of personal protective equipment.
- Assist in assembly processes as needed to support overall production goals.
Experience
- Packaging of big products using large rolls packaging sheets similar to aluminum foil
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings.
- Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of manufacturing principles and quality inspection standards.
- Prior experience in assembly or working with calipers for precise measurement is beneficial.
