Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Process Improvement Consultant to lead business transformation initiatives focused on improving operational efficiency, reducing waste, optimizing workflows, and driving sustainable performance improvements across the organization.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, business leaders, and operational stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities, analyze current processes, design future-state solutions, and implement measurable improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, consulting experience, and the ability to influence teams at all levels while delivering measurable business outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Analysis & Improvement
- Assess current business processes, workflows, and operational practices to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Conduct process mapping, value stream mapping, workflow analysis, and root cause analysis.
- Develop future-state process designs focused on efficiency, scalability, quality, and customer value.
- Identify opportunities to eliminate waste, reduce costs, improve productivity, and enhance operational performance.
- Lead process optimization initiatives from discovery through implementation.
Continuous Improvement & Lean Transformation
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Kaizen principles, DMAIC, and other improvement frameworks to solve complex business challenges.
- Facilitate improvement workshops, Kaizen events, process reviews, and problem-solving sessions.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), process controls, and best practices.
- Create continuous improvement cultures through coaching, training, and employee engagement.
- Support organizations in building sustainable operational excellence programs.
Data Analysis & Performance Improvement
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop KPI dashboards, performance metrics, and reporting tools.
- Measure improvement results including cost savings, cycle-time reduction, productivity gains, quality improvements, and customer satisfaction.
- Use data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with leadership teams and business units to understand challenges and improvement priorities.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions and gain alignment on transformation initiatives.
- Support change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes.
- Coach teams on problem-solving techniques and continuous improvement practices.
- Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
Project Management
- Lead multiple improvement projects simultaneously while managing scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables.
- Develop project plans, milestones, and implementation roadmaps.
- Track progress and communicate results to leadership teams.
- Ensure improvement initiatives achieve expected business benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, consulting, business transformation, or continuous improvement roles.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Lean Management, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Experience conducting process assessments and implementing improvement solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- PMP, Change Management, Agile, or operational excellence certifications.
- Consulting experience across multiple industries.
- Experience with ERP systems, analytics tools, workflow systems, or automation platforms.
- Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives.

Pay: $110,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
