Position: Healthcare Chart Courier- Full-Time- KHSC/PCH
Site: Providence Care Hospital- 752 King St West
Overtime Method: Ontario ESA
Hours: Monday - Friday 07:00 - 15:00 hours
Payrate: $18.43/hour

Job Description:
-
Present a visible and alert presence
-
Perform drop-offs/pick-ups between Kingston hospitals and off-site buildings in and around Kingston
-
Documentation on courier runs; detailed report writing/note taking
-
Use of 2-way radio communication
-
Use of cellphone technology
-
Deliver time sensitive items between sites
-
Pick up and drop off scheduled runs
-
Respond to Stat deliveries
-
Deliver inter-departmental mail and confidential documents
-
Provide above-average customer service to all contacts
-
Responsible for reporting required vehicle maintenance/care for actioning

Additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
-
Valid driver's license - Class G (or equivalent)
-
Clean driver's abstract
-
Ability to lift up to 50LBS
-
Ability to walk extended periods of time
-
Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test
-
Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)

Completed immunization for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella are required at the time of hire. Applicants who are not immunized or are otherwise unable to provide their MMR immunity at the time of hire will not be deemed eligible for the position.

Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)

Full-time availability with a minimum 6-month commitment

Fluent English communication skills
