RPI Consulting Group is looking for a reliable and skilled Relief Pharmacist for a short-term contract at a retail pharmacy in Fort St. John, BC—a lively community in the Peace River region, conveniently reachable by daily flights from major cities.
Contract Dates: July 20th – 24th, 2026
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday (8-hour shifts – 40 hours total)
System: Kroll (Paperless)
Daily Prescription Volume: ~150 Rx/day
Support Team: 2–3 Pharmacy Assistants throughout each shift
Compensation Options
- Option 1: $70/hour (Flights and accommodations booked and covered by RPI; details provided upon offer).
- Option 2: $100/hour (All-inclusive – covers your own travel and accommodations – ideal for Incorporated pharmacists).
Pharmacy Environment
- Software: Kroll (fully paperless workflow)
- Daily Volume: ~150 prescriptions per day
- Team: 2–3 experienced Pharmacy Assistants on each shift
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive pharmacy services such as dispensing, patient counseling, and clinical support.
- Adhere to all regulations and standards set by the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
- Oversee and work effectively with pharmacy assistants.
- Keep accurate digital records using Kroll software.
- Handle workflow efficiently in a fast-paced, paperless setting.
Requirements
- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
- Prior retail pharmacy experience necessary; knowledge of Kroll is a strong advantage.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and patient-centered care abilities.
