Tire & Lube Technician – Heavy Duty
Job Summary
Full Limit Oilfield Services is looking for a dependable and mechanically inclined Tire & Lube Technician to join our team.
This position will primarily involve servicing and maintaining our company fleet, including trucks, trailers, and related equipment. The successful candidate will assist with tire repairs and replacements, oil and filter changes, preventative maintenance, inspections, and general shop duties.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical experience who enjoys working on heavy-duty equipment and would like to continue developing their skills in a busy shop environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Install, repair, rotate, and replace tires on company trucks, trailers, and equipment
· Perform oil and filter changes and other routine preventative maintenance
· Check and top up fluids as required
· Inspect tires for wear, damage, proper inflation, and overall condition
· Assist with routine inspections of fleet vehicles and equipment
· Identify and report mechanical or safety concerns requiring further repair
· Assist mechanics with minor repairs and maintenance as required
· Safely operate hand tools, power tools, jacks, and other shop equipment
· Maintain accurate records of work completed as required
· Keep the shop and work areas clean, organized, and safe
· Assist with inventory of tires, oils, filters, and other shop supplies
· Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
· Previous experience with heavy-duty trucks, commercial vehicles, tires, or mechanical maintenance is preferred
· Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
· Experience using hand and power tools
· Ability to safely lift and handle heavy-duty tires and parts
· Ability to work safely around commercial vehicles and equipment
· Strong attention to detail
· Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
· Willingness to learn and take direction
· Valid driver’s license is preferred
Wage: $25.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
