Skid Steer Operator / Landscape Construction

Ground Force Contracting is looking for a dependable Skid Steer Operator to join our growing landscape construction team.
We work on residential and commercial landscape projects throughout the Edmonton area, building everything from new construction landscapes to acreage developments, final grading, fencing, retaining walls, decorative rock, sod, and tree installations.
We're looking for someone who enjoys operating equipment, works hard, takes pride in quality work, and wants to be part of a team that values professionalism, safety, and reliability.
What You'll Do
As a Skid Steer Operator, you'll be responsible for operating equipment safely while assisting our landscape crews with a variety of projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating skid steers for grading, material handling, soil preparation, and site cleanup.
- Loading and unloading landscape materials.
- Assisting with final grading and site preparation.
- Transporting soil, mulch, decorative rock, gravel, and other materials around job sites.
- Performing daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
- Keeping equipment clean and reporting maintenance concerns.
- Following all company safety policies and participating in safety meetings.

Qualifications
Preferred
- Previous skid steer operating experience.
- Landscape construction or construction experience.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Experience with grading is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to perform physical labour throughout the day.
