Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team in Edmonton location. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and creating high-quality coffe drinks and other beverages items in a fast-paced environment.
Barista experience is an asset. This is a part time position.
Responsibilities
- Prepare day to day baking items
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using a POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards during all stages of food preparation
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons in a friendly and professional manner
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register with precision
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and processing payments
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience in the food service or hospitality industry is beneficial
-Barista Experience is mandatory.
Baking experience is an asset.
