Our products are sold both online, in our four retail outlets and recently through Old Farm Market.

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Sales Associate/Cashier to join our retail team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and assisting customers with product selections. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and sales processing
- Upsell products and promote ongoing promotions to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards and organize product displays effectively
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage cash register operations, including balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Ensure a clean, organized checkout area and restock shelves as necessary
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Provide exceptional customer service to foster repeat business and positive shopping experiences
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills in English
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills
- Knowledge of merchandising and upselling techniques is advantageous
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and time management capabilities
- Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when needed
- Must be adaptable, friendly, and committed to providing outstanding customer service
Our store hours are Monday to Saturday 11-6 and Sunday/Holidays 11-4.
This opportunity is for a part-time Sales Associate. Looking to cover a Tuesday and Wednesday shift 10:30am to 6pm at our Fort St location.
There's also a possibility to gain extra shifts at this location and (if willing to travel) our other 3 locations in the greater Victoria area.
