The Role
You'll be responsible for transforming vacant apartments into clean, welcoming homes for incoming tenants. You'll work across a variety of residential buildings, tackling everything from standard move-out cleans to heavily soiled units that require extra attention.
We're looking for someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, works efficiently, and takes pride in leaving every unit spotless.
What You'll Do
- Deep clean vacant residential apartments from top to bottom
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living spaces
- Thoroughly clean appliances, cabinets, cupboards and fixtures
- Remove garbage, abandoned belongings and debris
- Clean inside refrigerators, ovens and other appliances
- Move appliances when necessary to clean behind and underneath them
- Vacuum, mop and sanitize floors and surfaces
- Identify and report maintenance issues discovered during cleaning
- Take photos of completed units
- Occasionally assist with carpet cleaning or steam cleaning (equipment provided)
- Travel between properties as assigned throughout Edmonton
Requirements
- Previous residential, commercial, hotel or move-out cleaning experience
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Able to lift and move appliances and heavy cleaning equipment when required
- Comfortable cleaning units in varying conditions, including heavy dirt, garbage and pet-related messes
- Comfortable using technology, answering texts, writing daily reports and sending photos of units.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
