We’re looking for an experienced coach ready to step onto the pitch, take charge, and make a real impact.
At Little Kickers, we introduce kids (aged 18 months to 8 years) to the sport in a high-energy, pressure-free environment. We aren't just looking for someone to run drills; we need a confident leader who knows how to manage a group, deliver a great curriculum, and build authentic connections with players and their parents.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Owning the Pitch: Lead dynamic, structured soccer classes tailored to different developmental stages.
- Engaging the Kids: Keep the energy high, manage group transitions smoothly, and ensure a safe, imaginative learning environment.
- Connecting with Families: Act as the face of the program, chatting with parents on the sidelines and giving updates on their child's progress.
- Managing the Details: Independently handle your class flow, including setting up and packing down provided equipment.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Experience: Have coaching, teaching, or sports instruction (soccer background is a big plus).
- Presence: You can project your voice, hold a group's attention, and keep easily distracted kids focused and having fun.
- Professionalism: You are highly reliable, organized, and comfortable running the show independently.
- Logistics: You have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to transport your coaching gear to the venues.
- Energy: You have the stamina to stay active, enthusiastic, and on your feet for 3+ hour shifts.
- Schedule - Classes in Aldergrove are Friday evenings 4pm to 6pm (there might also be opportunities to coach in Abbotsford or Langley).
