Experienced Engine/Hydraulic Drilling Rig Mechanic
Job description:
Must be willing to be on call, work long hours, work independently, safely work alone and/or with others.
Job Description/Duties:
Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
Work as a field tech travelling to multiple drilling rig locations and performing repairs on all mechanical equipment on the rig site.
Work in shop when needed or as field duties permit.
Must have extensive knowledge of hydraulic systems and the ability to read schematics
Must be able to perform alignments and check bearing play
Would Be Considered An Asset:
Engine experience w/Cat, Cummins, Detroit and Allison transmission experience
Triplex pump power end repair experience
Knowledge of basic 24V DC Systems and electrical systems
Use of large tools and specialty tools
Mud Pump overhauls.
Required Safety Tickets: First Aid, CSO, H2S, TDG and a WHMIS

- Industrial mechanic: 3 years (required)
- Hydraulic: 3 years (required)
- Engine: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 Licence (required)
