We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Plumber and Gas Fitter to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints and schematics
- Fit and connect gas lines safely following all relevant codes and regulations
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute precise installations
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to complete tasks efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing and boilers
- Collaborate with construction teams to assemble components accurately and efficiently
- Conduct inspections to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions promptly
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and others
Experience
- Proven experience as a Journeyman/Plumber with a valid license or certification in plumbing and gas fitting
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in HVAC systems, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation
- Hands-on experience with construction projects involving plumbing, carpentry, welding, and assembly processes
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics for installation and repair tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex installations
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical specification
