Kanoo Coffee: We are professional, caring employers. We are a family-owned and owner-operated local business that is looking to add someone to our excellent team.
We are looking for a highly experienced and personable barista who is looking to move into a management role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing service, making high-quality beverages, and performing various management responsibilities as needed. This service role will also include a share in the service tip pool.
We are particularly interested in finding a candidate who can make a 2-year work commitment, with a 1-year commitment being a minimum.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Previous barista experience at a specialty coffee shop is required. This includes experience using manual espresso machines and expert familiarity with a variety of brewing methods including pour overs.
- Strong knowledge and interest in coffee practices and processes is required.
- Supervision or management experience is an asset.
- Food Handler Certificate before starting your employment with us is required.
