We are currently seeking a Full-Time Farm Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be a skilled, dependable mechanic who takes pride in maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure our operation runs safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair a wide range of agricultural equipment.
- Operate oxy-acetylene welding and cutting equipment is an asset
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as required
- Maintains a safe and organized work environment while adhering to all applicable safety regulations and procedures
- Responsible for ordering repair parts as needed and handing in appropriate paperwork to front office for billing.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience servicing hydraulic and electrical, systems on agricultural equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Valid driver's licence required, company vehicle provided
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday: Flexible scheduling available 40 hours per week
