Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and other beverages following company recipes and standards
- Greet customers in a friendly manner and assist them in choosing the right coffee, pastry, beverage or food item from the menu
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment with precision
- Understand different types of coffee beans and how to tune in grinders for each
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar and seating area
- Restock inventory and supplies as needed
- Follow health and food safety guidelines to ensure quality and freshness of products
- All-rounder floor management
- Manage online orders and packaging
Experience:
- Previous experience in a barista or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and latte art is a must
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele
- Proficient in cash handling and operating Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Familiarity with food industry standards and practices
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
