Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Book truck loads by contacting customers and using online software.
- Receive and prioritize incoming calls from customers and drivers
- Dispatch drivers to appropriate locations based on customer requests and delivery schedules
- Monitor driver progress and provide updates to customers as needed
- Enter data accurately into the transportation management system
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Analyze supply chain data to optimize routes and improve efficiency
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other team members
- Utilize phone systems and other communication tools to relay information
Requirements:
- Proficient in email writing and good communication skills.
- Must be a team player and cooperative.
- Must have basic knowledge of transportation.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
