Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D CAD models.
Develop machining strategies for CNC milling, turning, and multi-axis machining.
Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machining methods.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to support new product launches and process improvements.
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to improve productivity and reduce cycle times.
Verify programs through simulation and machine prove-outs.
Maintain accurate program documentation and revision control.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company manufacturing standards.
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Machining, or a related field.
3+ years of CAD/CAM programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM, Fusion 360, NX CAM, Esprit, or PowerMill.
Strong knowledge of CNC milling, turning, and machining processes.
Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
Experience with CNC controllers such as Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Siemens, or Okuma is an asset.
