We are looking for a Class A Licensed Automotive Technician who enjoys working in the Automotive Trade. You will be responsible for:
- Performing work on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and Kia Canada policies and procedures
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and preparing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicating directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, and provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Performing inspections and safety checks
- Performing a variety of skilled work not requiring the service of other licensed trades
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Operating vehicles to move in and out of the service garage and completing road tests
- Maintaining a clean workspace
- Other duties as required by management
Skills and Qualifications:
Professional experience is an asset but even if you have little or no automotive sales experience, our training program will teach you the skills required for success.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Class A Automotive Technician license
- OEM experience preferred
- Proficient with computer systems and programs
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Mandatory valid G driver's license and clean drivers abstract
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate automotive issues clearly
Pay Details:
Flat Rate $30.00 - $40.00/Hour
