Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations within our manufacturing environment. This role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, along with leadership qualities to oversee maintenance activities effectively. The Maintenance Staff will play a vital role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability of our facilities and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct welding repairs and basic fabrication as needed to maintain equipment integrity.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations during maintenance activities.
- Lead or supervise maintenance teams during shift operations, providing guidance and support as necessary.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, or HVAC repairs when required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting electrical systems and components.
- Welding skills preferred; ability to perform basic fabrication tasks.
- Leadership or supervising experience in a maintenance setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in English for effective documentation and collaboration.
- Ability to work safely in an industrial environment with adherence to safety standards and protocols.
