Little Ones Therapy Services is seeking a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. At Little Ones, you work on a supportive, motivated, inter-disciplinary team. Responsibilities
You would be providing paediatric speech language pathology services to a varied caseload of children between the ages of 0-18 years. Together, we work collaboratively to provide services with our Little One’s Occupational Therapists and work in our newly renovated clinic space in New Maryland NB. You may be needed to provide services in our clinic, in daycares, homes, schools and virtually.
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating programs in our clinic, client’s homes, schools and communities.
- Using Formal or informal means of evaluating a child’s development and skills in the areas of expressive and receptive language skills, articulation, fluency, social communication, and augmentative communication programs.
- Establishing realistic goals for children to meet in order to improve communication and language goals.
- Liaising with other healthcare professionals and with the patients’ families, teachers, support workers and any others in the patients’ circle of care.
- Keeping clients records written and up to date with clearly written reports, programming and care plans.
- Attend multidisciplinary case meetings to plan and review ongoing goals, advocating for family.
- Referring patients to other specialists when needed
- Organizing support and rehabilitation groups for carers and clients.
- Attending our intake meetings to help support our intake and triage decisions.
- Traveling throughout the region or province to meet client’s needs.
Qualifications
A Master's Degree from an accredited University program in Speech Language Pathology is required.
Eligibility for licensure with the Regulatory College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of New Brunswick (RCASLPNB) is also required.
Insured with at least $6 million liability coverage
Valid transportation, ability to drive and carry a class 5 driver’s license
Bilingual (French and English) is an asset

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 37.5 per week
