The Role
We are looking for an experienced Composites Technician with strong hands-on knowledge of VARTM (Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding) to join our team. You will manufacture high-performance composite components in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and takes pride in workmanship, quality, and safety.
What You'll Do
- Cut, prepare, and handle composite materials to specification
- Perform hand layup, vacuum bagging, and resin infusion (VARTM) processes
- Lay materials into molds, ensuring proper fit, finish, and quality
- Demold, trim, and finish parts to required tolerances
- Prepare and organize material kits including carbon fiber, Kevlar, peel ply, and flow media
- Maintain, repair, and assist with the setup of molds and tooling
- Conduct basic quality inspections and support continuous process improvement
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
