Our company specializes in the production of custom kitchens and custom cabinetry components.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to read shop drawings and interpret specifications
- Check parts to the drawings and edit CNC machine program (3 axis CNC)
- Run machine and supervise operation
- Inspect dimensions
- Maintain equipment by performing routine quality control checks
- Sharpen and replace worn tools
- Follow manufacturing instructions to detect and troubleshoot malfunctions
Skills and Abilities
- CNC operating experience an asset
- Previous experience in cabinetry/woodworking and millwork manufacturing
- Demonstrates ability to read and interpret diagrams, schematics, drawings and specifications
- Be able to work with plan drawings/blueprints/work orders to create cut lists and programs for production
- Ensure quality standards are maintained in all CNC programming
- Assist CNC operations to set-up new programs and create/set-up documentation
- Be able to use Xilog
- Follow verbal and written instructions of numerical dimensions and tolerances
- Familiarity with automated machinery, with the ability to understand software
- Experience with AutoCAD, other CAD/CAM software, Mastercam and E-Cabinets an asset
- Excellent time management skills, with high attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently both within a team and independently
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written in English)
- Must be hardworking and have a strong willingness to learn
- Maintain a library / database of CNC programs
- Be collaborative and a problem solver
The ideal candidate to have CNC programming experience in the woodworking, cabinet/furniture manufacturing industry
2-3 years experience an asset
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Pay: $45,000.00-$65,073.00 per year
