Arabesque Academy of Dance is looking for an experienced Hip Hop Instructor to work with children aged 5 to 18 years, for our upcoming 2026/2027 dance season.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of dance teaching experience, as well as knowledge in hip hop foundations. The selected instructor will be required to run weekly hip hop classes, and create choreography for recitals. Instructor should be able to efficiently manage a classroom, be self-motivated & positive, and have a passion for working with children.
Candidates must be available to work from September to June, and all hip hop classes run on Monday evenings. If hired, instructor will be required to have an up-to-date Criminal Record Check, with Vulnerable Sector Screening. CPR-C & First Aid certification considered an asset.
Interested candidates should include a resume with references. Dance certifications, videos of teaching or past choreography, and a desire to stay on long term, are all considered an asset.
