Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dog Daycare Attendant and Driver to join our team. This role involves caring for dogs in our daycare facility and safely transporting pets to and from their homes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the physical ability to handle heavy lifting. Duties
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to dogs in the daycare, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day
- Supervise playgroups, monitor dog behavior, and facilitate socialization activities
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including cleaning kennels, play areas, and common spaces
- Safely transport dogs to and from clients’ homes or designated locations using company vehicles
- Assist with loading and unloading dogs, which may involve heavy lifting of crates or equipment
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ needs, behaviors, and any concerns
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for both dogs and staff
Experience
- Prior experience working with animals is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with pet owners and visitors
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds or more
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required for transportation duties
- A genuine love for animals and a responsible attitude towards pet care is essential for success in this role
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
