Job Summary
We are a community-focused independent pharmacy located in the vibrant Keele and Dundas neighborhood in Toronto. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Pharmacist to manage our dispensary on Thursdays and Fridays, with additional flexibility to provide vacation coverage when required.
Duties
- Dispensing & Verification: Safely dispense medications and perform therapeutic checks on all prescriptions.
- Clinical Services: Conduct Ontario Minor Ailment Assessments, MedsChecks, and provide professional patient consultations.
- Injection Administration: Administer seasonal influenza vaccines, COVID-19 boosters, and routine injections.
- Workflow Management: Lead the dispensary team (assistants/technicians) to maintain an efficient, organized workflow.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain accurate records and documentation in strict accordance with Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) standards.
Qualifications and requirement
- Licensure: Registered Pharmacist (Part A) in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
- Software Mastery: Proficiency with Kroll pharmacy software is required for this role.
- Certifications: Valid Injection Certification and current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Experience: Experience in an independent community pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong clinical judgment, and a warm, patient-first approach.
