We are seeking an AI Governance and Security Risk Manager with a dedicated focus on Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This role sits at the intersection of AI strategy, risk, controls, and engineering, supporting the responsible and secure adoption of AI across the organization and client engagements. As AI adoption accelerates, this role is critical in ensuring AI systems are reliable, accurate, secure, and aligned with emerging standards and regulations. You will play a hands‑on role in shaping and delivering our Trustworthy AI offering, working closely with AI strategy teams, engineering partners, and senior risk leaders. This is an evolving role suited for someone with a sharp, curious mindset who understands where AI can go wrong, how risks manifest in real implementations (including agentic AI), and how to proactively design controls, monitoring, and evaluation approaches to mitigate those risks.

Roles/Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to designing AI governance, security and risk framework, operating model and capabilities required to deliver them. Advising organizations to ensure AI systems are designed and deployed responsibly.
- Identify, assess, and manage AI‑specific risks, including model reliability, accuracy, bias, misuse, security vulnerabilities, and emerging agentic AI risks.
- Design and evaluate AI risk controls, monitoring approaches, and validation frameworks across the AI lifecycle.
- Support AI evaluations across Agentic/ AI systems, ensuring models and systems behave as intended and risks are understood and documented.
- Work closely with AI strategy teams to ensure every AI implementation is paired with appropriate risk, governance, and security considerations.
- Support AI use case identification, helping teams understand risk exposure early and design mitigations upfront.
- Be part of a fully dedicated Trustworthy AI practice, bringing depth of experience and practical judgment to engagements.
- Mentor and collaborate with team members while continuing to grow your own expertise alongside senior leaders.
Must Have Requirements:
- Strong foundation in data with experience applying governance principles to complex data or analytics environments.
- Consulting, advisory, or strategy experience supporting complex, cross‑functional initiatives.
- Background in risk, security, or controls, with exposure to monitoring, validation, and evaluation concepts, eagerness to learn and evolve.
- Demonstrated understanding of where and how AI systems can fail, including risks related to prompts, model behavior, misuse, and unintended outcomes.
- Strong business and technical understanding, working knowledge of AI risk assessments, and validations.
- Comfort working in ambiguous, evolving problem spaces, where standards and best practices are still forming.
- Knowledge of emerging AI regulations or standards.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to AI model evaluations, testing, or monitoring frameworks, including reliability, accuracy, or bias considerations.
- Familiarity with agentic AI concepts and associated risk patterns.
- Experience working alongside AI engineering or data science teams on real implementations
Pay: $85.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
