Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by a general practitioner who has an interest in Dermatology
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients' conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures, such as specimen collection
- Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care techniques.
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe and clean environment.
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed practical nurse (LPN) with current license -Must have all vaccinations
- Previous experience working in pre op, post op, surgery or Dermatology is appreciated
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
