Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide expert patient care, develop personalized treatment plans, and support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals. Candidates with hospital experience, acute care experience, pediatrics, and strong knowledge of medical terminology are highly valued.
Duties
- Assess patients’ physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to promote recovery and mobility.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, management techniques, and post-treatment exercises.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Ensure a safe clinical environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices through ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Valid registration as a Physiotherapist with the appropriate licensing body.
- Proven experience working in hospital settings or acute care environments preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards and continuous learning.
Pay: $75.00-$95.00 per hour
