ABOUT THE ROLE
This is more than a front desk position. You'll be the face of our studio and play an important role in creating an exceptional experience for every member and guest. This dynamic role combines member services, membership sales, studio operations, and community engagement while supporting the continued growth and success of the studio. You'll welcome members and prospective members, conduct studio tours and membership consultations, recommend the membership options and promotional offers that best support each individual's health and wellness goals, follow up with leads and trial members, introduce new members to instructors, support marketing initiatives, and help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment. The ideal candidate enjoys connecting with people, building genuine relationships, and delivering exceptional member service. You're confident discussing memberships and promotional offers, motivated to achieve sales goals, take initiative, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver exceptional member service in person, by phone, email, text message, and social media.
- Welcome members and guests while creating a warm, professional, and welcoming studio experience. Conduct studio tours and membership consultations, confidently recommending the membership options and promotional offers that best meet each prospective member's needs and goals.
- Follow up with leads, inquiries, and trial members to support membership growth and achieve studio sales goals.Introduce new members to instructors and help create a positive and welcoming first studio experience.
- Promote memberships, punch passes, retail products, workshops, studio events, and special promotions. Assist members with class bookings, account updates, and general studio inquiries. Monitor class attendance, waitlists, and member communications.
- Support the studio's social media by creating one piece of social media content during each shift.
- Open and close the studio in accordance with established procedures.Complete administrative, operational, and customer service tasks while maintaining accurate member records and supporting the day-to-day operation of the studio.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming studio environment in accordance with studio standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum 2 years of proven customer service experience.
- Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience, with demonstrated success achieving sales goals while selling memberships, services, promotional offers, or comparable products.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
- Confident discussing memberships, recommending appropriate membership options, and achieving sales goals.Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable, with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
- Experience with social media, marketing, or community engagement is considered an asset.
- Ability to perform cleaning, organizing, and light lifting as part of daily studio operations.
- Availability to work a minimum of three shifts per week, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, with flexibility to work additional shifts as needed.
