Job Summary
Echo-Tech Machine & Tool Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Technician to join our precision manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring products meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements through inspection, data collection, and analysis. This role plays a key part in maintaining our quality management system, supporting AS9100 compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
The Quality Technician will work closely with production, engineering, and management teams to uphold quality standards and support the delivery of high-precision components to the aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process, final, and first article inspections (FAIs) of machined components and assemblies.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
- Perform quality inspections using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Utilize coordinate measuring equipment (CMM) and portable measurement systems, such as a Romer Arm, as required.
- Collect and analyze data related to product quality, process performance, and inspection results to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, non-conformance reports, and quality documentation.
- Support corrective and preventive action activities by assisting with root cause investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
- Assist in the calibration, maintenance, and control of inspection and measuring equipment.
- Collaborate with production personnel to address quality concerns and ensure customer requirements are consistently met.
- Support internal audits, customer audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, customer-specific requirements, company procedures, and applicable industry standards.
- Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Qualifications Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or quality assurance environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Proficiency with precision measuring equipment, including calipers and micrometers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred
- Experience inspecting precision machined components and assemblies.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience operating or programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
- Experience using portable inspection equipment such as a Romer Arm.
- Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, and AS9102 requirements.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-precision manufacturing environments.

Pay: $27.00-$32.00 per hour
