Platinum finishing & Millwork
We are a high-end finishing and millwork company in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Our founder, started the company in 2016 after working in the carpentry industry for more than a decade. He wanted to focus more on one-of-a-kind creative projects that allowed him to showcase his keen eye for detail and his ability to turn a visionary design into a real-life feature homeowners can truly take pride in.
We primarily specialize in residential millwork and finishing carpentry. However, we do also take on the occasional commercial project, if it’s the right fit.
Platinum Finishing & Millwork is looking for punctual, reliable, professional Finishing Carpenter / Cabinet installer with abilities to provide a consistent quality installations
Applicant must:
- Have strong listening skills and an ability to follow directions
- Math skills are a must
- Minimum of 5 year experience with interior finishing carpentry
- Have own transportation
Wages range from $21/hour to $32/hour depending on experience and abilities. Position is available immediately.

Requirements:
· Valid Drivers License with own transportation and clean abstract.
· Minimum 5 years experience in woodworking.
· Strong attention to detail.
· MUST BE RELIABLE!
· Experience installing custom woodwork and cabinetmaking.
· Able to interpret blueprints, technical drawings and shop drawings.
· Able to self-manage timelines and project planning.
· Able to create solutions for site and fabrication challenges.
· Able to work as part of a team and improve the team's performance.
· Strong enough to lift 75 lbs.
· Able to work to a high level of accuracy.
· Good communication skills.
· Free from allergies to dust.
· Hours: Monday to Thursday 6:00am to 4:00pm
Daily Tasks and Responsibilities:
· Using Shop Drawings and Work Order information
· Site Measure
· Onsite and in shop Fabrications
· Hang Doors, install Casing, Baseboard and Crown Moulding
· Installation of Millwork
· Assist with cleaning and shop Maintenance.
Work remotely

Pay: $21.00-$32.00 per hour
