General Body & Equipment is a full-service industrial truck body builder with employees in Edmonton and Saskatoon. We are seeking a dedicated General Labourer to join our Paint team. The ideal candidate will be expected to do the following with training:
- Assist in the preparation of vehicles for detailing.
- Assist in washing, ensuring surfaces are properly cleaned.
- Help maintain and organize detailing tools and equipment, ensuring everything is clean and in good working order.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks
Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Minimum grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certification a major asset however, we will train
- Class 5 drivers license
- Strong communication skills in English including written, verbal and reading
- Be able to multi-task and move from job to job
- Able to achieve deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to lift 50 pounds
- Familiarity with tools in an industrial paint environment an asset
- Previous shop experience is an asset
- Acquire hand tools as needed
