Job Overview:
Join our dedicated team as a Picker/Packer for our thriving janitorial service company. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and staging a wide range of cleaning supplies and equipment—including chemicals, disinfectants, mops, brooms, vacuums, floor care machines, paper products, trash liners, and safety gear.
Responsibilities:
Order Picking:
- Accurately pick janitorial supplies and equipment from warehouse shelves, bins, and pallet racking based on pick tickets, work orders, or customer orders.
- Select products including cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, mops, brooms, dustpans, trash liners, paper towels, toilet tissue, hand soaps, sanitizers, floor care machines, and safety equipment.
Order Packing:
- Pack orders securely using appropriate materials to prevent leaks, spills, or damage during transit.
- Use bubble wrap, foam inserts, sturdy boxes, and pallets to secure products.
Warehouse Organization & Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Organize shelving, bins, and pallet racking with clear labeling by product category and SKU.
- Remove empty boxes, packing materials, and debris from work areas.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and proper handling of products.
Basic math and reading skills for order processing and inventory management.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
Pay: $21.79-$25.78 per hour
