Spurr Heating and Air Conditioning is a growing, TSSA-licensed residential HVAC contractor in Hamilton, ON. As an Authorized York Dealer and registered HRSP contractor, we install furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps for homeowners across the region. We're looking for an experienced Lead Installer to anchor our install crew and help mentor our growing team.
$40–47/hr based on experience, plus install completion bonuses and full benefits.
What You'll Do
- Lead residential installs of furnaces, ACs, and heat pumps
- Perform commissioning, startup, and code compliance sign-off per TSSA/CSA standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues on-site
- Mentor junior techs and helpers on install best practices
- Complete accurate job documentation
- Communicate directly with homeowners on system operation and maintenance plans
Requirements
- Valid TSSA G2 Gas Technician license
- 5+ years residential HVAC install experience, including lead/crew role
- Strong knowledge of heat pump systems (cold-climate ASHP experience a plus)
- Valid driver's license, clean abstract
- Comfortable working at heights, in attics/crawlspaces, and outdoors year-round
- Strong communication skills for direct customer interaction
