Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Director to develop and strengthen strategic relationships with dealership ownership groups, General Managers, Sales Managers, Finance Managers, and other key decision-makers. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving product penetration across assigned accounts, delivering dealership training and sales support, identifying and securing new business opportunities, and achieving monthly sales and growth targets. Through proactive account management, business development, and relationship-building, the Area Sales Director will play a key role in expanding Lifeline's dealer network and maximizing the performance of existing dealership partners.
Responsibility
- Develop, manage, and strengthen long-term business relationships with dealership ownership groups, General Managers, Sales Managers, Finance Managers, and other key stakeholders through regular dealership visits.
- Drive product sales and increase market penetration by providing ongoing sales support, training, and performance coaching to dealership teams.
- Coordinate daily sales activities with dealership partners to ensure effective program implementation, customer satisfaction, and achievement of sales objectives.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new dealership accounts through strategic business development, networking, cold calling, and in-person visits.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Conduct dealership product presentations, training sessions, promotional events, and marketing campaigns to increase product awareness and sales performance.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and distribute promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, banners, digital content, and dealership marketing initiatives.
- Support and oversee digital marketing activities to enhance company branding, online presence, and customer engagement through the company website, social media platforms, and other digital channels.
- Prepare and distribute professional communications, including customer correspondence, dealership announcements, newsletters, and sales updates.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and dealership performance, and provide recommendations to management on business growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, dealership visits, pipeline opportunities, and customer interactions using the company's CRM and reporting systems.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, dealership meetings, and networking functions to strengthen the company's market presence.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by senior management.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Automotive Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive dealership sales, finance, fixed operations, or account management.
- Previous experience selling automotive protection products, extended warranties, F&I products, or dealership service programs is considered a strong asset.
- Demonstrated success in business development, territory management, and achieving sales objectives.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
- Additional language skills are considered an asset.

Pay: $50,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
