Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness, food safety, and supporting the overall hospitality experience. Previous restaurant, hotel, or kitchen experience is a plus but not required. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in food service operations and develop skills in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas to meet health and safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including handling ingredients and supporting cooking activities
- Support the kitchen team by ensuring all necessary supplies are available and ready for service
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are upheld
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling processes to maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hotel environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen setting
- Ability to handle food safely and practice proper food handling techniques
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- A positive attitude and willingness to support team members in all aspects of kitchen operations
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
