With a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and technical staff, we take an active leadership role in design development and project delivery from concept through construction. We are seeking an Intermediate Architectural Technologist to join our growing team and contribute to the development of high‑quality architectural documentation and coordinated project solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural drawings, details, and specifications for residential, commercial, institutional, and renovation projects.
- Prepare and coordinate permit, tender, and construction documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with project objectives.
- Produce 2D and 3D CAD/BIM drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, consistent with our firm’s state‑of‑the‑art drafting and BIM workflows.
- Collaborate closely with structural engineers, designers, and external consultants to deliver cohesive, integrated solutions.
- Conduct building code and zoning reviews, supporting compliance with authorities having jurisdiction.
- Assist with project management tasks including scheduling, documentation, and communication.
- Participate in construction review and contract administration, including site visits and coordination with contractors.
- Contribute to design development, value engineering discussions, and project option analysis where applicable.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Architectural Technology from an accredited post‑secondary institution.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in architectural practice.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and familiarity with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of building construction, detailing, and the Ontario Building Code.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience working directly with clients is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
