**This position is part of a staffing pool. Successful candidates will be added to internal company communication and contacted on an as-needed basis to provide relief or coverage for shifts.
As opportunities arise, candidates in the pool may also be offered more consistent or ongoing assignments. If a regular client becomes available, you will be contacted to confirm your interest and availability before being assigned.
Please note that active participation is expected. If shifts are offered and remain unaccepted for a period of three consecutive months, you may be automatically removed from the staffing pool.
Job description
- Provide personal care to patients proactively and with compassion.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as grooming, dressing and bathing.
- Plan and prepare meals.
- Help with patient mobility and transfers.
- Perform light household duties

- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Reliable vehicle for work
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 3 months.
- Up-to-date Immunization Record.
- Availability to work days, evenings and weekends
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Proven interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Previous community experience an asset
- Medication Assistance Certificate an asset
